Afte nearly 10 months of using the F1 7390 shaver, I am still very pleased compared with previous shavers used. Initially the shaving performance was astoundingly better. Shaving time reducced considerably. This has since deteriorated, but is still better than previous shavers. The battery gives a good 8-9 days of shaving before needing a recharge. A few little nigggles that prevent it being "perfect". Washing the heads daily after use is very dependent on the temperature of the hot water, and requires a considerable amount of water to go down the drain to get the heads clean. Maybe as a result of this I find that I have to brush the heads out thoroughly every 2 months rather than the 6 months suggested in the instruction manual. The hinge of the shaving heads is fixed to the body of the shaver by a spring loaded ball. This can easily "pop off" the shaver when shaking dry after washing, unless held securely by hand, or if it is accidently knocked quite lightly. It is a shame too that the shaver is not provided with a case. I am using the case from my previous Philips shaver, which is o.k. but is a tight fit for shaver and charging cord. All in all though I am still pleased with the shaver itself.

Nella confezione le sole istruzioni presenti sono un piccolo e pressoché inutile pieghevole con dei disegni e un riferimento al sito della Philips, da dove comunque è difficile recuperare le istruzioni corrette e complete. Al momento l'ho utilizzato 2 volte. Prima volta: Rasatura da capelli lunghi mezzo centimetro circa, iniziata con i vari pettinini, fino alla lama nuda. La lama nuda sembrava "impigliarsi" nella mia pelle. Sono poi passato alla testina per la rasatura a zero che però non è riuscita a rasarmi a zero. Ad un certo punto (dopo oltre 15 minuti) ho smesso d'insistere, perché la pelle cominciava ad irritarsi. Seconda volta: Dopo un paio di giorni ho ritentato, direttamente con la testina per la rasatura a zero, visto che i capelli non erano cresciuti molto. Questa volta sono riuscito, utilizzando una certa insistenza e una certa pressione, a radere a zero la testa. Tuttavia questa insistenza e questa pressione hanno causato un'irritazione non indifferente sulla pelle, ottenendo in alcuni punti una vera e propria scorticazione. Per concludere, l'apparecchio non rade a zero (non come mostrato sulla confezione o comunque come pubblicizzato), se non a scapito della propria pelle (ho ancora le croste). Francamente non lo consiglio, a meno che non si vogliano sprecare dei soldi: i miei li ritengo buttati al vento.
